Capabilities:
Diver-held underwater video

MER video recordings are made on high definition (HDV) format tapes using a Sony HDR-HC9 high definition digital video camera mounted in an Amphibico EVO HD Elite Model VHHCEL57 housing.  Lighting is provided by an Amphibico Discovery G3 Model DIG3KT 35W/50W switchable internally-powered underwater arc lamp.

Diver-held underwater video is conducted to a maximum depth of 80 feet. At depths between 80 and 300 feet video is recorded using a real-time remote camera assembly.
